Though it’s been dry, there have been just enough clouds for pretty sunrises and sunsets. – Pic taken 12/9/2025

Precipitation summary… There has been no measurable precip.
Current satellite and radar…

There is nothing on radar in or area Wednesday afternoon.
Forecast highlights…
*** Lots of sun, mostly dry, and a warming trend the next 10 days and then hopefully a more active pattern. ***
Forecast details…
Rest of Wednesday through next Wednesday… A giant, blocking, evil ridge is forcing the storm track well to our north. We’ll have lots of sun and temps 10-15 degrees above average.
Temps…
Wednesday highs will be in the high 40s to the low 50s and lows will be in the low teens to low 20s..
Thursday through Monday will be near 50 to the mid-50s and lows will be in the low teens to low 20s.
Tuesday and next Wednesday highs will be in the mid-40 to low 50s and lows will be in the low teens to low 20s.
Winds…
Afternoon peak winds will be 10-15mph each day.

The 8-14 day period… The giant, nasty ridge might start breaking down around 20 Dec and allow a few systems to move through the Four Corners region. It doesn’t look too promising, but it’s better than nothing.

The next post will be on Friday.
