For grins and to promote local businesses, Pagosa Weather hosts four to six weather contests a year.
We’ve had a contest for the first time the airfield temperature falls below zero degrees Fahrenheit, when the snow in Shawn and Arleen’s yard reached two feet, how much the seasonal snow fall at Wolf Creek Ski resort will be, and the first time the airfield reaches 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
A number of local Pagosa businesses have participated in the contests with us including Rosie’s Pizza, the Hub Bike Shop, Ooh La La Spa, and the Neon Mallard.
