Sign for Earth Day

Saturday, April 19th, 9am – 2pm, in Centennial Park near the grow domes, downtown.

Pagosa Weather will have a booth at this year’s Earth Day Celebration brought to you by Southwest organization for sustainability.

Stop by and visit with us from 10am to 2pm. We’ll have a demonstration on clouds and how they form. In addition, if you have questions about the CoCoRaHS program, we’ll have a gauge there and information to answer any of your questions. In fact, with some expected rain, we can measure the amount of precipitation!

I grew up in Montana where my love of the mountains is rooted. I served in the Air Force, forecasting aviation weather, for 24 years. I had eight assignments and my favorites were Colorado, Alaska, Korea, and Germany. I deployed several times, including to Iraq and Afghanistan. After RV traveling for nine years, Shawn and I found paradise in Pagosa. Here we enjoy playing outside in the spectacular San Juan mountains!
