UPDATE: Phil Slusher is the winner of $50 gift certificate to Ski & Bow Rack!

The following individuals had the next nearest guesses and win a Ski & Bow Rack hat! Congratulations to Cheri Maxwell, Corey Shult, Dee Halley, and Carol Ann Peterson!!!

We had an average of 2.19″ of precip reported at our CoCoRaHS stations across Archuleta County during the month of September. That brings our monsoon season total to 9.53!!! That is 3.28″ more than the monsoon average for the months of July, August, September of 6.25″. That is the 2nd most pecip we have had in a monsoon season in the last ten years. We had 11.6″ in the summer of 2013. 2014 was close with 9.18″.

Huge thanks to Brittany & Robert and the rest of the team at Ski & Bow Rack for the support of our weather contests and for being our Blizzard level sponsor!

This contest closed for new guesses on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 at 11:59pm. Good luck to all.

I grew up in Montana where my love of mountains is rooted. I was in the Air Force for 24 years; Weather Observer to Weather Forecaster to Staff Weather Officer all to ensure flight safety. Mission was to brief aircrews on clouds, winds, turbulence, icing, thunderstorms. I served a total of 8 assignments and 4 deployments around the world. After RV traveling full time for 9 years, we found paradise in Pagosa. Here we enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing in spectacular mountains! Plus, we're trying to solve the San Juan weather puzzle! I am an AMS member.
