Earth Day Celebration will be at PLPOA Club House!

IMPORTANT! Due to weather, the Earth Day Celebration has been moved to the PLPOA Club House at 230 Port Avenue on Sunday, April 26th from 10am to 3pm.

Posted: 25 Apr 2026 – 3:15pm

It was a combination of rain, thunderstorms, wind, and temperatures that forced the decision. As one SOS committee member said, “”I’m intrigued by how nature continues to surprise us in ways that can be challenging and yet beautiful. Bringing more moisture to our world and gathering in community with grace.”

The Pagosa Weather Team booth will be set up inside the building. See you tomorrow!

Some vendors may choose to set up outside the building.

Shawn will have an updated weather post out shortly.

I grew up in Montana where my love of the mountains is rooted. I served in the Air Force, forecasting aviation weather, for 24 years. I had eight assignments and my favorites were Colorado, Alaska, Korea, and Germany. I deployed several times, including to Iraq and Afghanistan. After RV traveling for nine years, Shawn and I found paradise in Pagosa. Here we enjoy playing outside in the spectacular San Juan mountains!
