IZZABELLA has been at the Humane Society since Oct 2022 – nearly 2 and a half years! She’s obedient and smart. She knows sit, stay, high five, lay down, and is easy to walk. Give this girl a chance and you’ll have a fantastic friend!

I’ll adjust the timing and snow amounts as the data gets better.

WPC precip for this period shows 0.36” near Pagosa and up to 1.40” in our mountains. This would result in 2-4” of snow near Pagosa and 12-16” in our mountains. I think this is a bit high for the mountains but looks good for Pagosa. The forecast models continue to show a wide range of outcomes, so my forecast confidence is shaky.

I’ve been a “weather geek” since I was young child. I joined the military out of high school and was lucky to get my dream job in weather. I have 20 years of military weather experience which includes forecasting the weather all over the world. Highlights were six years in Alaska and making life and death weather decisions during deployments. I love mountains, I love snow, and I love summertime thunderstorms. I spend a bunch of time playing outdoors and found my paradise in Pagosa Springs. I do Pagosa Weather as a community service. Hopefully you find us helpful!
