Come Out & Meet Pagosa Weather on Earth Day!

We hope to see you at the Earth Day celebration Sunday!  We’ll be set up 10am to 3pm and will have free yardsticks and stickers.  We might even do a cloud in a jar experiment for the kids!

Pagosa Springs Earth Day; Sunday, April 21st, 10am-3pm.

Where: Centennial Park at the Geothermal Greenhouse Project domes along the river walk downtown, Pagosa Springs. Pagosa Springs Earth Day this year is in loving memory of Linda Hobbs.

Pagosa Weather Booth

Come by and meet our team, Arleen & Shawn, at the Pagosa Weather Booth. We will be set up from 10am till 3pm. We will have free yardsticks and stickers. In addition, we’ll be making a cloud in a bottle for the kids.

If you live on Hwy 160 West near the county line or in Arboles, Pagosa Junction, Dulce, or the Upper Blanco, please stop by and talk to us about becoming a CoCoRaHS observer. We need data from those areas.

Weather for Saturday

Bring a sweater for the morning! It will be chilly first thing then it is going to warm up nicely. However, it will be breezy.

The day will start out partly cloudy and then we’ll see increasing clouds in the early afternoon hours for mostly cloudy skies. There is a slight chance of thunderstorms and rainshowers from noon to 3pm.

Winds will be out of the southwest at 5-10 mph till noon. Temperatures will start at 50F at 9am for setup. We’ll slowly warm up and be a balmy 65F to 70F by 3pm. Around noon winds will increase to 10 to 15mph with gusts as high as 25mph.
