Grillin’ and Distillin’ is Pagosa’s Chamber of Commerce Exciting New Summer Event!!!
Join us for Grillin’ & Distillin’ at the Archuleta County Fairgrounds for Pagosa’s first barbecue competition and whiskey-tasting event. There will be categories for commercial cooks and backyard bbq’ers, live music, food trucks, a beer and wine tent, and more.
Attention Backyard Grillers & Passionate Pit Masters
We’re looking for local backyard grillers and passionate pit masters, ready to throw down for bragging rights, prizes, and a whole lot of community fun.
Entry is FREE for backyard bbq’ers and very small for Masters. You bring the heat, the smoke, and your best BBQ game. You can enter here, with a printable or online application.

Distilling Tasting Tickets are $25 (includes admission);
Grillin ticket and Distillin ticket combo is $45 (includes admission);
General Admission Tickets (no BBQ or distilling tasting) are $10, age 17 and up.
Final ticket amount includes processing fee.

Hughes Pavilion is a covered arena located at the Archuleta County Fairgrounds.
Grillin’ & Distillin’ Weather
Partly Cloudy becoming Mostly cloudy becoming Cloudy. Thunderstorms over the mountains moving into the valley areas and over the fairgrounds by 2pm. Temp at noon: Upper 70s. Increasing to mid-80s before cooling. By 5pm: Lower 70s. Winds: 8mph with Gusts to 20mph. Higher gusts possible as thunderstorms move through.
Thankfully, they will have covered tents and the entertainment, food tables etc will be inside of the Hughes Pavilion!!
