The NWS NDFD snowfall forecast shows a few snowflakes in the Pagosa area and 4-8″ near Wolf Creek Pass. (Click on Title of post to see graphic)

Snow amounts for our mountains have trended up for the Tuesday night/Wednesday storm.
The first few scattered showers will start over the mountains late Tuesday afternoon and then in the Pagosa area around sunset. Hit and miss showers and an isolated thunderstorm or two will persist into Wednesday evening.
Snow levels will mostly be above 8,500ft but could briefly drop to around 7,800ft with a thunderstorm or strong shower.
Precip amounts…
Mountains above 9,000ft: 4-8″ of snow
Pagosa area: 0.10″ to 0.30″ of rain. Folks above 7,800ft could see a few snowflakes but I don’t expect any accumulation.
