The organization helps provide financial assistance to veterans in need, advocate for veterans and provide resources of education, information, and experience.
Both Arleen and Shawn are Vet 4 Vets Lifetime members. They enjoy updating the veterans on what they can expect for winter weather.

Daughters of the American Revolution
The Daughters of the American Revolution is an organization with a deeply rich history while also being truly relevant in today’s world. They became members to honor their heritage as well as make a difference in their communities across the country and the world. The local chapter is comprised of members from Pagosa Springs and Durango.
They invited Arleen and Shawn to come speak to them about Pagosa Weather and brief them on the upcoming winter season. These ladies were weather enthusiasts and asked some amazing questions.

HELP! Do you or do you have a friend that lives in one of the five areas highlighted below?
Archuleta County is well represented but we still have big data gaps. We really need a volunteer in Arboles, Dulce, west on Highway 160, Pagosa Junction, and the upper Blanco. Sign up by filling out this web page: https://www.cocorahs.org/application.aspx. Or send us a note and we can send you more detailed information.
Perhaps, our December Newsletter will show fewer red circles!

The red circles are areas we could use a CoCoRaHS observer. Let us know if you can give us 5 to 10 minutes every morning to measure precip and snow. CoCoRaHS provides all the training you need.
