Would you buy a Pagosa Weather Hat?

We’ll have them for sale at the Chili Cha Cha!

We are thinking about selling Pagosa Weather hats and having them available for purchase at the Chili Cha Cha. Would you prefer a blue hat with a black patch or a grey hat with a blue patch?

This survey will give us an idea as to how many to order. Please let us know with a comment below if you would be interested and which color you prefer. This is in no means an obligation to purchase. Just a survey. Thank you!

I grew up in Montana where my love of mountains is rooted. I was in the Air Force for 24 years; Weather Observer to Weather Forecaster to Staff Weather Officer all to ensure flight safety. Mission was to brief aircrews on clouds, winds, turbulence, icing, thunderstorms. I served a total of 8 assignments and 4 deployments around the world. After RV traveling full time for 9 years, we found paradise in Pagosa. Here we enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing in spectacular mountains! Plus, we're trying to solve the San Juan weather puzzle! I am an AMS member.

  2. Blue hat, black patch and cloth. Like a bucket hat w a small brim all around to keep your head warm and dry.

  16. Yes, I would buy a Pagosa Weather hat. Dark blue or navy blue is the blue you’re considering? Given the two choices you’ve offered, I’d choose navy blue hat with black patch and yellow or white lettering. Or how about a black hat with navy blue patch and yellow lettering? Or a grey hat with a black patch with white lettering? Not trying to be difficult. Just asking.

    The other issue – will it be a truckers hat with a mesh back or a solid cloth hat? Would prefer the latter given our usual cool weather. Also hoping it might fit a 7 1/2″ – 7 5/8″ head. Or at least one of the choices or an adjustable hat would fit a larger head like mine.
