Charge up your LIFE not your phone!

Cold Case Gear is a team of adventurers, innovators, and dreamers. They are based right here in Pagosa Springs at the foot of the incomprehensibly rugged San Juan Mountains. The vast wilderness that surrounds them is their source of inspiration, and a brutal testing ground that quickly weeds out bad ideas. It’s the perfect place to test out the toughest phone cases.

Their business is committed to being a force for good in the world. To lower their carbon footprint they have chosen to manufacture their products here at home. They are proud to be Made In The USA.

The West Slope Case is the best four season cellphone protection available. It’s a lot of things in one. It’s a waterproof phone case that can be submerged in several feet of water, it’s one of the toughest phone cases offering insane shock absorbency and massive drop protection, and it protects from heat and cold, extending your battery life by hours and hours.

Weather Be Damned

That’s their philosophy. Cold Case Gear was born from this principle. You’ve no doubt heard the expression, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing”. Well, that’s kind of the inspiration behind this whole thing they’re doing right here in Pagosa. They believe that weather shouldn’t dictate how your outdoor experience goes.

Pagosa Weather is excited to partner with this exciting, young company. We are proud that they are one of our Snowman level sponsors! With the word “COLD” right in their company name, it was meant to be.

I grew up in Montana where my love of mountains is rooted. I was in the Air Force for 24 years; Weather Observer to Weather Forecaster to Staff Weather Officer all to ensure flight safety. Mission was to brief aircrews on clouds, winds, turbulence, icing, thunderstorms. I served a total of 8 assignments and 4 deployments around the world. After RV traveling full time for 9 years, we found paradise in Pagosa. Here we enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing in spectacular mountains! Plus, we're trying to solve the San Juan weather puzzle! I am an AMS member.
