Donate and receive a Pagosa Weather Snow Depth Measurer!
Colorado Gives Day to support nonprofits is December 7th. This movement encourages us to “Give Where You Live”! Pagosa Weather has been around for 6 years but we’ve only been a nonprofit for a little less than a year. In order to meet the Colorado Gives longevity criteria, a nonprofit has to have been recognized and been in good standing for at least 5 years. So unfortunately, you cannot donate to Pagosa Weather through Colorado Gives Day, yet.
However, it’s time to start ask for your help again as we prepare to renew weather subscriptions for 2022. Our team enjoys doing Pagosa Weather as a community service. Unfortunately, web page costs and weather subscription expenses, necessary to provide you accurate weather reports, add up.
Your donation of $25 or more will help us take care of some of those costs and ensure that we will be able to provide this free service for everyone for years to come. In addition, each donor will receive a Pagosa Weather Snow Depth Measurer (yardstick).
How to Donate

Smart Phone: Select upper right hand menu icon (=). Scroll down to “About Us”, down menu to “Support Pagosa Weather” or find it in the grey area at bottom of page. You can choose to donate by PayPal (Send), or you can select Square to donate with a credit card.
Donate by Check: Send me a private message at pagosaweather@gmail.com. I’ll send you instructions on how to send a private check.
San Juan Mercantile has generously volunteered to support us as a store front.
You can pick up your Pagosa Weather Snow Depth Measurer (yardstick) at San Juan Mercantile.
San Juan Mercantile is a fun store with a wide variety of items. Antiques and Collectibles, tons of Jewelry, Gifts, Handmade Treasures, Knives, Candles, Housewares, Fine Linens, Local Honey, Souvenirs, and Locally made items. It is at 523 San Juan Street, next to the Barber Shop, across the street from Plaza Liquor. Thank you, Cindy and Tom for your help!
The following list of folks still have a Snow Measuring Device (ruler) there. If you have picked up your ruler or you don’t want one or would prefer a yardstick, just let me know.

As we look forward to 2022…
So thankful to our sponsors! The Hub and Dr. Leo Milner came on board as sponsors last week. And I am very excited to announce that I will be introducing four more sponsors this week. Look for those announcements! We have room for a few more sponsors. If you are interested, please contact me at pagosaweather@gmail.com.
We look forward to our continued Community Outreach involvement and providing weather presentations. We will be speaking at the Pagosa Rotary Club on January 13th. Hopefully, we’ll be giving presentations to the Archuleta County Search and Rescue, the San Juan Outdoor Club, and the Middle School early in the year. If your group or association would like Pagosa Weather to come give you one of your presentations, please contact me at pagosaweather@gmail.com.
Thank You to all the donors, businesses, and support of the Pagosa Springs community!!!
Sincerely, The Pagosa Weather Team: Arleen, Shawn, Mark.
