This sunset of virga was shot at the end of August…we may see some more of this on Tuesday.
9-12-21: 11:30am update…
You know things are dry when you get excited for a 20% chance for rain! A trough will bring us a micro chance for rain on Tuesday, then no mention of precipitation for the rest of the week. High pressure rules our world for at least 1-2 weeks.

My forecast…
The rest of today…a chance for scattered decorative cumulus clouds. Highs will hit the low 80’s and winds could gust over 20mph this afternoon.
Monday-Sunday: Mostly sunny with lows in the upper 30’s and low 40’s and highs in the upper 70’s to lower 80’s with afternoon wind gusts over 20mph. A trough moves through on Tuesday bringing us a slight chance for some PM Poppers and slightly cooler temperatures, dropping our highs into the upper 70’s which is still above normal. Consider yourself lucky if you see 0.05 of rainfall. Most of us will not see rain from this system.
My next update will be on Tuesday.
